Report of the fourth stage of volunteer work regarding humanitarian support of the population and protection of Ukraine during the period of the russian invasion

Thanks to the donations of our , over the past month and a half, the “Danube-Carpathian Program” transferred UAH 125,070 to humanitarian support and assistance to the military.

In total, from the beginning of the open full-scale invasion until August 15, we collected more than 75,000 euros in charitable contributions to support the Ukrainian army and humanitarian needs: more than 40,000 euros in money (37,410 euros, 4,994 dollars, 500 pounds, 7,980 UAH) and 35,000 euros in humanitarian items.

This is help from more than 60 conservation donors and individual conservation organizations from Europe and the USA.

For efficient and prompt use of donor funds during this period we worked with:

NGO “Wave of Resistance”

• Together with the NGO “Bili Horvati” in the amount of UAH 58,780 we:a Mitsubishi L200 car was repaired and handed over;bought video cameras for monitoring the approaches to the observation post and a set of antennas for connecting one rotating camera, which is moved forward 5 km (into the grey zone between fighting sites for humanitarian purpose);repaired and handed over the second handed car, adapted for military and humanitarian purposes, along with 3 tents and raincoats;

  purchased a Konus rangefinder, Bushnell monocle and Yukon binoculars.

   

  We transferred UAH 66,290 for the purchase of different items with support of the NGO “The Wave of Resistance”, like

  –   Block of autonomous lighting with fast charging BanderaPower 2.0 https://res.ua/blok-avtonomnogo-osvitlennya-z-shvidkoyu-zaryadkoyu-banderapower-2-0.html

  –   Another repaired car for military and humanitarian purposes,

  –   several stoves for military and humanitarian needs.

   

   So, in general, for the fourth reporting period, we spent UAH 125,070.

   

  Cooperation with our Ukrainian partners helps to more quickly provide assistance where it is most needed.

We are sincerely grateful to our partners for their conscientious work.

It is important to realize that the war will be long, but the volunteer movement needs to ensure the continuity of the process of supporting both civilians and the military, which will be a huge challenge. In the long process, there will be fatigue on the part of both the donor and the recipient. Now, it is necessary to prevent these risks.

As we have already reported, from the beginning of Russia’s aggression until the victory, our NGO “Danube-Carpathian Program” will work mostly to ensure the humanitarian needs of free Ukrainians and to support the Ukrainian army.
