Specialists of the Danube-Carpathian Program surveyed forest areas of the Kivertsi NPP “Tsumanskaya Pushcha”, in the territory used by the State Enterprise “Tsumansky Forestry”, Partisan Forestry, to identify forests, ancient forests and natural forests.
During the survey, experts found 24 hemp (mostly oak) without brand. Also, according to the analysis of logging tickets for 2016 – 2019 (until 10.09) on the site of the State Agency of Forest Resources of Ukraine in logging areas, logging tickets were not issued.
Heaps of household waste were also found in a forest near the recreation point.
The specialists of the NGO “Danube-Carpathian Program” addressed the State Ecological Inspectorate of the Volyn region with a statement on these violations.
